Using Small Worlds

Your work.
Your browser.

This page explains the collection’s browser-based storage and file controls, and what happens when you contact us.

Scores and saved work

Many apps store scores, settings, or work in your browser’s local storage. These saves are tied to the browser profile and website address. They do not automatically follow you to another device, browser, or address.

Clearing site data can remove saved work. Private browsing, storage limits, or browser settings may prevent saving or shorten how long a save lasts. A downloaded copy and a hosted copy may have separate storage.

Imports and exports

When you choose an import file, the app reads the file you selected in the browser. Export controls create a file for you to download. Keep exported files somewhere you can find again; anyone you share them with may be able to read their contents.

Import formats differ between apps. Use the matching app and follow its prompts before replacing an open project or game.

The catalog and website visits

The catalog’s search, category filters, and sorting run in your browser. The current catalog code does not send search terms to a search service or use analytics cookies. Your selected filters and search text appear in the page address so you can return to or share the same results. They may be saved in browser history, included in shared links, and received by the hosting service when that address is opened.

Opening a hosted page still requests files from its hosting service. That service can receive connection information such as your IP address and requested page. Host-specific logging and retention details depend on the deployment; this page does not promise that hosting logs are absent.

Email and outside links

Contact links open your email app; sending an email shares the message and your sender details with Digital Opus through email providers. Include only information needed to explain your request. A link to another website takes you to that site’s own services and privacy practices.

For storage or privacy questions, email Digitalopusadsolutions@gmail.com.

Managing your data

Use an app’s export control before deleting work. App reset and delete controls affect the records described by that app; browser site-data settings may remove saves across the collection. We cannot restore a local save from your device through an account.
