Ideas, references & acknowledgments

Credits & sources.

Games, tools and creative studios build on many ideas. References and acknowledgments help explain where those ideas come from.

App-specific references

Individual apps may include rules, mathematical references, technical notes or acknowledgments alongside their instructions. Consult those notes for the sources relevant to that app.

If a source or credit is missing or inaccurate, please include the app’s title or entry number when you contact us.

Questions or corrections?

If a credit or source needs attention, please tell us which game you are referring to.
